I have a Thrunite Ti on our keychain and it seems to have lost something in the bottom of the tail housing. It wont turn on no matter how much I screw the head in. I verified the head is still good by alligator clipping a 1.5v battery to the contacts and it lights right up, so I suspect I may have lost a spring or some piece of metal that complete the circuit at the tail end.

Can someone post a pic of what the bottom of the tailpiece looks like? Does it have a spring or some such? Would like to prevent sending it in if I can just fix it myself. Thx.

no spring, but there is a small metal "nub" at the bottom. (about 1-2mm tall).
If you are missing the nub, a small magnet might work.
