I have a TN 11 on the way, it should be here any day, I have already purchased several kinds of batteries but I need some advice to what setup to use for a bright light without going to the 2nd extenter and making it too long for pocket carrying, it will be used daily.
All my batteries are AW protected cells (new).
I am thankful for any advice.

Does that mean you'll use the first extender, essentially 3x123A length? I'd been thinking of the same setup, with 2x18500, which I've heard works nicely -- gets you the full 8.4V battery power with decent capacity without the last extender. I'd ask on one of the review threads whether the reviewer has tried 18500s and which fit.

Yes the AW 18500's with 1 extension has been mentioned many times, thats what I ordered along with 18650's from Lighthound, it should be here hopefully this week unless it got hung up in customs coming from the UK.\

That's how I run mine (AW 18500's). Works great. Should be good for about 45-55 minutes of run time at full brightness. Not as good as 2x18650 but the 2nd extender is a bit too long.

Its here and was worth the wait, the programming is not real clear to me but I am getting it, it is one heck of a light, I would highly advise anyone wanting a very bright light with lots of battery options to consider it.
