Tinted Flashlight Incandescent Bulb

Does anyone know why no flashlight/bulb manufacturer tint their incandescent bulb to get a whiter light like those used in auto headlights to simulate the HID look? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The Vector SportSpot 500K c.p. hand held spotlight uses a blue tinted bulb to fake it. Works OK for $25. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Because they aren't bright enough to afford to lose the amount of photons they do with a blue coating on the glass.
