I have a TK75 and want to use a defusser on it.
Problem is, Fenix doesn't build one.

Any tips on making one myself?

An early diffuser that was quite popular was to use a cellphone anti-glare screen protector. They are easily cut with scissors and you get several from each package. They peel off if you don't like them.

Another that was popular was to cut a disk from a plastic milk jug.

The techniques you use depend on the tools you have at hand. Since I have a lathe, I'd make a Delrin (plastic) collar that press fits on the bezel, and mount a frosted plastic lens in it.

Hmm That's a good advice. Plastic Milk jug :grin2:
I have a lathe to, and Delrin (probably a bit to small) Ill try to fool around with that idea.
Thanks

It is amazing how much diffusion you get from a fairly clear substance. Try shining the light (in a dark room or night time) through various materials till you find one you like. Some will scatter the beam, others will also reduce the intensity a lot.

We want pictures when you are done.

When I can come up with this in 15 minutes,
Think about what Fenix can build when they want.:poke:
