TK41 U2 on 4xAA

I just got the U2 revision of the TK41, but it doesn't seem to run on 4xAA. Can someone else confirm this?

It's not a big deal, but I'm kind of disappointed since I head others talking about how theirs runs on 4xAA.

I was able to run mine on 4xAA. I wonder if it matters which slots you use in the battery carrier?

The TK41 is 4S2P. If you don't have the batteries in the correct two adjacent slots, you won't have 4S.
