TL - 3 Xeneon

I got the TL - 3 Xeneon today from www.brightguy.com. I am impressed with this light sofar but the true test will be tonight. The packaging states that the light puts out 200 lumens whereas the website states 175 so??? The light is quality built imho and with most of Streamlight Products the price is right! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you're able to comparison test it with other powerful xenon lights that would help us get a sense of its capabilities.

BrightNorm - The only other flashlights that I could compare with would be my Scorpion and Stinger (Stinger HP/XT & UltraStinger) Line of Lights. I also got the Tigerlight yesterday but that is a rechargeable with I believe a Halogen Bulb. Please correct me if I am wrong on the TL configuration, never pretended to be an expert at this, still pretty green...

Any and all comparisons you feel like doing would be welcome and worth reading about. It always helps to use fresh batteries and fully charge rechargeables to make the comparisons as accurate and fair as possible,

I'm no expert on bulb technology either, but most of the high performance bulbs are filled primarily with Xenon with some Halogen to help avoid darkening caused by filiment deposits. You probably know this but it's worth repeating that you should wear eye protection when handling these pressurized bulbs.
