Looking to buy new 18650's for my TN30 XML2. I noticed that the unprotected cells are much cheaper and can have a higher current draw. In terms of current draw is it worth using unprotected cells or IMR in this light or is the current draw not that high. I also have the new TN32 on it way. Would that light benefit from higher current batteries or not. Thanks for the help

Both lights don't profit from unprotected or IMR cells. The current draw is too low. And unprotected cells are too short for the battery cage and are very loose because of that.
