There was an ordinary toilet lamp from WalMart (my is from Castorama but it's the same .... around the world :rolleyes:).

Almost ordinary, the light source was too spotty and under the glass there was some heatsink visible...

Re: Toilet lightnig project...

Ah I had a totally different view when I saw the title.

I once just got some LEDs in the mail and I was walking by my washroom and started to think.

But then who I need my number 1 and 2 lit up with LEDs?

Re: Toilet lightnig project...

I have not seen any of these around n-america / 120V AC !!

I wonder how much they are......

Edit=>thanks for the pictures!

Cost - in Poland they cost 66 PLN / 17 EURO / 26$.

Re: Toilet lightnig project...

Thanks for more info "Szemhazai"!!

Alas, I can not find any information anywhere. If the major hardware stores will be carrying them or not is uncertain. I will look for them when I go shopping but you can't keep your hopes up. $26 US would be very good price.

I will report if I see them.

Could you supply a picture of the box itself?

Regards.

Re: Toilet lightnig project...

Why I have the feeling that you misunderstood something... It was standard incan bulb lamp from the store that was cut by me and I put there heat sink and 3 Acriche leds… !

And 26$ is price the of the one led.

Ahhhhhhh!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!

:green::green::twothumbs:twothumbs

Good job?

Yeah.

After re-reading the OP and looking at the pictures, now I can clearly see the home/made heat sink and cut out area of the housing. Are these wired in a series or in parallels? Either way, after adding up the cost of fixture about $20 + 3x26 (led) = $98 plus time and this seems to get real expensive real fast! Meh!!
