Took my PM6 for a walk

Just got in from a long and wobbly ( called at a pub ) walk with the dog over the countryside nearby. I usually take my Space Needle 2 but tonight I thought I might take the PM6 for a change. Now when I got this light I was initially a little disappointed but I'm comparing this I suppose to the SN2 and the Blaster VI so it may seem a little yellowy and less punchy. Tonight however it seemed to throw like the light I originally envisaged it would be. Tonight I didn't previously shine my other two so I didn't have that electric white light to immediately compare it by and so appreciated this light for what it was. For the price I paid for it I was now impressed - pity it took me this long to do a real world test. I'm still thinking about modding this light with a PM6 McModule but now I'm not so sure maybe I'll keep this as my only incandescent quality flashlight and get an SF L4 as a similar sized LED flashlight?

Funny... the whole time reading the story, I thought you had already tuned it up with the McModule. You mean some people actually use them stock? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You can easily switch out the McModule with the stock assembly, and have the best of both worlds, when you need both worlds...
