Hi

I recently lost my Inova T5 (old version) and I'm in the process of buying a new light. I really liked the throwing capacity of my old T5 but, it had no spill at all. Now I'm looking for a light (and only ONE light) that could be usefull in almost all situations (very low ''low'', 200 and up max lumens, compact and with multiple battery configurations. I intend to use it in my work (parts inspection), occasional night walks, occasional camping trips and work around the house at night.

Here are the models I locking for right now:

Jetbeam RRT-0 (the smallest of the lights I'm looking for)
Olight M21 warrior (still quite small but powerfull)
Fenix TK30 (The biggest of the lot but the higest rated lumens)

Your inputs woulb be welcome and maybe other suggestions will be appreciated. I know some of those lights are too big for EDC but I am on a limited budget and I dont want to buy 3 lights to furfill all of my needs.

Thanks

^ All are a little large for EDC IMO. Quark warm or a Jet I v3 would be my suggestions.

Of the 3 I'd say RRT-0.

RRT-0 sounds nice - I look forward to reading reviews on it and possibly getting one. (I have an RRT-2 already)

One thing you are limited on with the "0" is capacity / runtime on brighter settings. If you need to throw some serious lumens out, it's not going to last very long on one cell.

Have you considered the Jetbeam Jet III - Military? Great versatile light that will give you A LOT of runtime on 1 x 18650 or 2 x CR123a (or 2 x rechargeable 123)

It is a very well-made, proven light and less $$ than the RRT-0!

I agree with pobox, a smaller light would be easier for EDC.

But remember that smaller lights don't throw as far, so if you want throw, you'll need a larger light.

In addition to the Quark and Jetbeam, take a look at the Nitecore D10, Nitecore Defender Infinity (both have adjustable output), the Liteflux LF5X could also be a good choice.

The Jetbeam would throw the furthest out of the selection. A Li-ion 14500 would give you the most output for all the lights.

:welcome:
