I just bought 30 Toshiba CR123As from Botach for $30.00. Ordered Tuesday, arrived Friday. Does anyone have experience with these batteries? Beats the $7.00 I paid per battery when I bought a 6P about 1990.

How about 24 Rayovac 223's for $24.xx shipped?

What advantage is it to split 223s, just cost? The 20 123s will last me a year or more. Also what does the prefix DL or CR mean?

So where do you buy ANY Rayovac Lithium batteries?

I would love to find a source for their 123 batteries.

Somebody please tell my why 223 batteries are often times cheaper then 123s. Doesn't make sense.

Supply and demand.

I just recieved the case of 24 Rayovacs today. I wont mention who YET because I dont want him to get flooded with emails. Ill post some pictures tonight. Can anyone host the photos for me?

I went to get some Surefire 123's off a gun shop in Sydney, he handed me Toshiba's and said that's what SF are issuing nowadays. Personally I thought it was just a cost saving exercise - but they seem to be no better/worse than Duracells (only other brand I've tried).

SureFire used to ship with Duracells but the last 5 lights I got all came with SureFire batteries.

ps. check out the Acronyms link at the bottom of the page

Toshiba's work fine w/a HOLA...

For a spunky cell, find the new Ray-O-Vac RL-123 cell with the blue/chrome label. I've had fantastic performance with them, probably the best performing 123, yet...

I just bought a case of Ray-O-Vac RL223's. They have a black and gold label though.
