My Fenix e11 has a total reflection lens. I guess it called a TIR optic. I really like the beam of the e11, even with its minor artifacts, as it throws a broad beam that is well suited to using on a bicycle. In Fenix lights, I can only find one other light with the total reflection lens, the e15, but it uses a single CR123 battery. I prefer to stick with AA rechargeable batteries, so I am ready to branch out to other brands.
Does anybody here know of any single AA or 2xAA flashlights with a TIR optic or something similar? I know Serfas sells some bicycle headlights that use a similar lens. I have their older True 250, and get many compliments for the beam from my headlight. I am hoping to find an additional flashlight with this style of lens.
