Triangular AA battery holders

...like the AAA ones that many small LED torches have on.y for AA. I want to put 2 lots of 3 AA's into a torch barrel.

EDIT: To clear things up, I do not want the AA->D converter. I want the cells in series to drive 3 LEDs.

Tractor Supply Co here has a $8 flashlight with a 3S AA holder. I wouldn't trust most of these past 1.0 amps though.

Edit: In other words, I don't know who sells them, but '3S round AA holder' may shed some light.

They are pricey but the Titanium Innovations 3 x AA to 1 x D Serial Battery Adapter would do the trick.

Are those TI holders good for higher current draw? I just paid the same price for a pair of rayovac roughneck 4xAA flashlights ($15/each) to get the 4AA to D adapters that I still need to rewire for my m*glight project. I still have to rewire them but atleast I got spare parts (to take up space in the parts bin, I doubt I'll ever use them lol)

Tried the DAGS for 3S AA round holder and ....mmmm...
$15 for the holder! That is more than the torch I bought to convert!...and the AA Lipo cells. Well about as much as both, for a bit of wire and plastic.

Seems I need to look at alternatives.

Tried the search...no luck.
