Hello there,
Recently i decided to upgrade a light of mine. It is a crank light this time. I had searched on the net and found some 26000 mcd white LEDs (5mm) and these seem to be the easiest to get these days.
My question is:
What are the highest output white LEDs available today in 5mm size?
Also, would the 26000mcd ones just have a tighter angle or would they put out more total light?
Also, with a max current of 60ma, would there be a better solution than 5mm? Remember i cant get more than 60ma or the run time goes down too fast.
I guess i should consider both a tight angle light and a somewhat normal angle light (not too tight). That's two different ways of doing it i know, but i'd like to consider both ways. Im really up for a normal angle light this time, but i'd like to think about a narrow angle light too in the future.
Lastly, what are the best crank lights out there these days as far as run time after cranking for say 30 seconds and have a decent amount of light output?
