OK, so here is the scoop,
I do a lot of surf fishing and many times at night. Historically, we tape small "lunker lights" to the tips of our poles so we can tell if we are getting a bite. You really do not want to use a light all the time to check your poles and being right beside the pole is a pain.
The lunker lights get pricey when you have 4 poles out every night for 3 nights so I started thinking about trit vials. Generally speaking I know they are small and fragile so taping a plain vial to the top may not be wise but is there some place where I can get the vials that are encased in something larger/stronger?
I am looking for something about 1 inch long by maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch in diameter.
