hi all

  1. just bought my first torch, the trustfire z5 but one thing ive noticed is that it doesn't have a reflector in it. can i buy one that fits or do i have to make one?. and are there any good mods that i can do to this torch to make it better?
  2. i have the torchy 2800mah batteries, and so is the ultrafire wf 139 a good charger for these batteries
  3. what do you guys recommend for a second sub £15 zoomable cree xml torch. preferably not from china as i cant wait 25 days :(

thanks guys

It's an aspherical lens light, a reflector would create a weirder beam then it has now but would increase the overall output a bit though. You should be able to adjust the head to focus or defocus the light.

What brand of batteries do you have? If it's not a decent brand, I'd be wary of the rated current and durability of the battery. The charger should be fine, but I hear xtar chargers are nice at a budget price.

I'm not sure how many XM-L lights are in your price range, and most things of that price also have iffy quality.

:welcome:

yea it focuses by moving the lens away from the led

i bought some torchy 2800mah 3.7 18650 batteries for use with this torch

and the sub £15 torch doesnt have to have a xml. i just need a back up zoomable torch which is quite bright and supports triple A batteries or 18650s

also is dealsextreme a reputable website
:thanks:
