Tx25c2 xml2?

I received my tx25 today, I don't believe it's the xml2 version. But when I look into the led, I only see two wires. I guess I could look more closely at the owners manual and what not, but I'm just curious if there is any quick way to tell?

You got XML2 then...2 wires is the key. Enjoy...it's a great light!!

Is the base of the emitter green or silver?
XM-L is green is XM-L2 is silver.

Maybe there was an upgrade & they just send u the upgraded model..?

I have my eye on that light.

New boxes don't always get printed for an LED upgrade. Often they will put a sticker on it to mark it as the new model, but apparently not always.

Ya, I was pretty surprised. I assumed they still had xml models they would send out, but it seems like all they have left are the xml2s. Awesome light though, a lot of throw for this size light
