First, I'm not sure where this belongs, so I decided to post in this forum. Move if it belongs elsewhere.
Question:
Running on two AA NiMH batteries, what can I expect the typical efficiency to be? I was looking on DealExtreme, and noticed that people stated the efficiency was about 70%. Is that good? Should I expect more considering that the voltage must be increased from about 2.6v to 3.7v?
Lastly, where should I look for these drivers? Dealextreme has a very narrow selection (preferably 1 or 2 mode) for 2xAA's. I tried Cutter Electroncis but could not find anything for flashlights.
