i have just purchased a uk vizion headlamp turned the headlight on 30 lumens of light brilliant i minute later nothing the light packs up .on inspection i open the headlamp the batteries are roasting hot .what is wrong with this product .i have now had to send it back to shop where i purchased it for a replacment ,is this a common occurance of this product ,i know they claim the workings are the same as a petzel which i know are very reliable as i have owned several for many years .perhaps i should purchase a zebra light or have i been unlucky with the uk vizion.take it easy pukka paul.

I own two of these now. Both don't have the problem you described. The good thing about UK products is that all their products carry a limited lifetime warranty. I've sent in a dive light years after I purchased it for repair without problem.
