ultra stinger upgrade

is the ultra stinger upgrade head worth it on a standard stinger? My lense is scratched up and was thinking about getting this to replace it. Will runtime be effected? I have a 1500 mah stick.

What you would be getting is an HP upgrade head. They run about $25. Throw is increased quite a bit. Runtime is the same as it uses the same bulb.
Also, of course there is an increase in both length and width.

Sounds like you must have an older battery as current sticks are 1800 mAh. If you need to buy the head and a new battery, it might be close in $$ to the cost of a new light.

If you are satisfied with the current configuration except the scratched lense, just replace the lense. If you want more throw, get the head. The increase in throw is due to increase in head/reflector diameter, bigger diameter, bigger throw. If you want even more throw get the Megafive mod with different bulbs and Li-ion battery (2X or 3X Pila168A/18650).

Runtime will remain the same.
