ultra violet lights

I have a friend that is a bowhunting guide and ocasionally has to follow a blood trail after dark. After checking with my local sheriff, I was told blood shows up much better under ultraviolet light. Does anyone know of a light that may work, I have not seen any on the light manufacturers web sites. Help Austin

You might need the kind of UV that comes out of a tube. Blood looks pretty much black under any of the UV and near-UV LEDs I've tried.

I'd check some forensics websites and see what kind of lights they use, and if there are any that will make blood show up without having to douche the whole trail ahead of you with luminol.
