I have been looking on Ebay for a charger and 8, 3.7v 18650 batteries for my new Fenix TK75 and have seen the ultrafire batteries with up to 4900mah. Is this size/capacity the way to go or should I stick with the lower 3000mah? Also why do the ultrafire come in different colours? does it mean anything if the battery is blue or gold and black or red and black? I am a bit confused by all the different capacities and colours

Dont trust in any trustfire numbers, please, for your safety, dont buy any of this... You can find something to much better for not much money...

Dont buy any, XXXXfire battery, all this are just crap...

I wish i had the money to buy the best brand battery`s but i dont, i had to buy an old notebook battery and scavenge the 18650`s

I saw this 2600mah 18650 posted by a cpf member the other day, and he said he had tested them and the capacity was quite close to the marked capacity, so i saved the link.

I suppose what you get can vary from batch to batch, but have a look at the link below, don't forget chines new years is coming for delivery`s

Thanks for the info, they are a good price. Can this company be trusted to sell genuine products?

At that price, and unmarked batteries, smells kind of fishy to me. Usually you won't get a single cell at that price, let alone two.
You really don't want to be saving your money on Lithium-ion batteries, because if you buy low quality cells, or mistreat them, you will have an explosion on (/in) your hands sooner or later. And that's not a joke. <-click for images!
This forum is full of useful information about 18650s and other cells, and I recommend HKJ's reviews in particular.

Bottom line: get your cells from a reputable manufacturer and dealer.

Ill let you know. I've got a set of 4 on order for my TM15. The price isn't that out of line. You can get a Tenergy 2600 for about 7 each. Those are decent batteries so I'll take a chance on these. Fasttech seems to be a decent seller.

Why did i not see these before the royal mail linthium ban :( , buy these tonym1 , nice find Changchung

EDIT : I cannot believe that price, it seems too good to be true!!!!!!

I just bought two chargers each with two Ultras 4000mah black batteries, after charging one battery will only make turbo work twice and then kaput, might be the short button or the protection circuit, charged another and after the second day of use seems to work just fine, batteries and chargers combined total price of two chargers and four batteries was just a hair over $25. Bought from Amazon, free shipping to Alaska no less. I may just stockpile these cheaper Ultrafire batteries.

Agreed. HKJ's battery test compilation has a tremendous amount of useful info and data about a good amount of 18650 batts. It was quite the eye opener to see what the Ultrafire batts really produce compared to their rating. Much less the fact that they are very inconsistent.

Panasonic batts seem to perform very well and aren't much more money than the xxxxfires.

I have ordered 8 Panasonics so hope they will be ok, waiting is pain.
