UltraFire P60 Style LED Drop In 4.5 volts?

The UltraFire P60 Style LED Drop In is rated at 3.7 to 4.2 volts but what happens if the voltage is a little higher? Say 4.5 or 6 volts.

I can't speak to the Ultrafire. According the Dereelight's importer (Flashcrazy), if you try running a Dereelight XP-G 3.8-4.2V module with three nickel-zinc AA cells (4.8-5.1V under load), you'll burn out the module. I'm tempted to test that theory for the good of the cause!
