Have been looking into getting my first Nitecore charger which will probably be the UMS2 (but not other models). Have researched on this model and learned about its pluses and minuses. So here are my feedback and suggestions based on the UMS2 form and config:

a. In addition to the USB2 Micro-B connection there should be auxiliary power input connections available, be that DC or direct AC (ie. if the charger can be equipped with an internal PSU). Customers should not be limited to just USB connection only as the quality of power delivery can be affected depending on the USB charger and cables being used (which is the responsibility at the user side). IMO the continual usage of Micro-B connections is totally fine, and that there's no urgency to switch to type C connections in a rush (and without careful consideration);

b. I read that the plastic material used on the said charger may not be as durable as that of some other companies. Not sure if that's 100% the case? I do however read that the USB Micro-B receptacle is not as durable as it can break off inside the charger chassis after prolonged use, rendering the (UMS2) charger inoperable/useless, which also leads of point (a);

c. It's good to see charger models like the UMS2 compatible with multiple LiIon top-off voltage levels, unlike some other companies like Xtar which has deliberately removed such compatibility on all subsequent charger models after their VP2. I do however like to see more useful features like LiIon discharge/refresh/test functions being included as well;

d. The early inclusion of protected cylindrical 21700 compatibility is very welcome, unlike Xtar which has to update its own charger lineup every now and then. The spring-loaded contacts however need to be durable and able to press snug on smaller cells esp. RCR123/16340, otherwise an effective electrical connection cannot be established. I find this problem with some of Xtar's charger models (excluding their VP2)

Sorry but I'm writing this in a heartbeat. There may be more feedback and suggestions but I cannot recall them all, and hence the aforementioned four points only.
