A handy little feature, but 850mAh in AA format is not a huge amount for powering our latest lights. I wonder how reliable the USB fitting is?

I think the capacity loss in those cells is way too large. The USB plug alone robs the cell of a third of its volume, and the electronics must take up a considerable additional amount of space.

Possibly an answer to a question that nobody ever asked. 4 hour charge time and a really expensive way to come up with a low capacity AA cell.
