Using 2 c123a vs 1 18650

Would using a 18650 make the output lower? Because obviously we're talking 6 volts vs 3.7. So would it effect output or would the regulator control that. I am specifically talking about the EagleTac T20C2.

The short answer is no and running 18650s will increase your run times and bank balance.

Longer answer is it depends on the driver. Buck, boost, both, regulated, direct drive and so forth. There's more power in the 18650 that can be delivered at higher current. Input voltage isn't everything.
