Using old 123s

Can I use pairs of old 123s, as long as they were drained the same? For example: I put new 123s in my SF A2. When it drops out of incandescent regulation, I take them out. Can I then put that same pair in a Fenix P3D to burn that last 25% of energy?

Before doing so, you should check for their capacity; equal voltage is a poor
indicator of remaining capacity, and unmatched cells may lead to explosions. On 1x123 lights, you're safer using those spent cells.

I'm with GreenLED. Best use for partially-spent 123's is a 1x123 light.
