This is allittle noobish but I couldn't find a good answer searching. :candle:

Can I put cells like the CBP4500 SC in a lenght of PVC tube with a magnet on the top cell and use them in a Maglite? Do the bats have enough of a button to contact eachother?

I was wanting to charge them individually and not have to buy a pack charger.

Thanks

I can only speak about Powerizer 4200 sub-Cs, as those are the cells that I run in my 5C mag ROP. They are not in a spacer as none is required in a c size host. I removed the tabs and use them with no magnets in the light and it seems to operate fine. I do, however use a magnet on the positive terminal when charging in my Vanson Speedi-box.
