Hello
I have had hotwire mini mag, since they get aviable. H1499+alu reflector, glass lens, ceramic socket, lipos.
The HotWire :D
When that mod was made, the mag have had tight body for lipos.
I need bore very thin slice of inner body of mag.
How it can made ? I do have dremel.
The use of light has been almost none, cause of that problem. Now over two years, it has zero minutes of use.

You may be able to take some sandpaper roll it up so it fits in the body and spin it with a drill. As you spin it work it back and forth. This will take some time depending on what grit paper you use but you will be able to do it yourself.

Lathe is no option by me...
I really want do it my self and use dremel, if possible.

Is that kind of tool, that can used to minimag boring ?
I'dont have proper lenght of anykind axel, than could attached to dremel...
One option is, that someone lathe owner on CPF readers, can do that also.
Any Finnish readers, with lathe and knowledge to do proper boring ?

You can use the brake hone if it will fit the ID of the mini mag, use a drill it doesn't need to do 10,000+ rpm.

I haven't found proper brake honing tool, that could used to bore out minmags. Sure I will buy, if someboy found me that kind tool ! :)

I'd be willing to do it for you at the cost of shipping, but I'm in the US, so shipping would be a bit.

I would need you to send the batteries that are a tight fit as well.

Simple- Find a wooden dowel that will fit in the chuck of an ordinary hand drill motor. Saw a slot down the length of the dowel with a hacksaw. Slip a piece of abrasive paper or cloth into the slot and wrap it around the dowel. Insert the dowel with the abrasive into the flashlight body and turn on the drill so it turns dragging the abrasive around the inside of the body. Work the paper along the length of the body until the desired diameter is reached... :twothumbs

+1 Highly effective, cheap, and fast.
