Video editing software?

I am looking for a new video editing program to cut/splice product reviews for my youtube. Is there anyting out there that meets this criteria?

-Simple and basic, I don't need anything fancy
-Minimal system resources
-Freeware / shareware
-No watermark advertisements on my videos
-.MOV or .AVI file output

I haven't used it much, myself, but what about Movie Maker? It's practically free, if you use Windows XP, Vista, or 7.

Avidemux < Free, open-source, multi-platform... and seems to be received fairly well.
