Anyone know of a low output light with a very warm beam? I am thinking sub-lumen. I am currently using a FourSevens single AA light with a lowest mode of, I think 0.3 lumens. It meets my needs fairly well except that the beam is too blue. Wanting something much warmer to not affect my night vision as much. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You would probably like the warm Yuji emitter at 3200K, but I don't know where you will find one in a light that has a sub-lumen mode. I use a Sofirn C01 with Yuji and a Peak Eiger Mule with Nichia 219B at 4000K when I want a low light around the house after dark, especially in the early morning before the sun is up.

You can email Robyn from Peak led solutions and have them build you a level 1 eiger with their stock 3000k or 219b 4000k led (they usually have the 219b in stock)

Reylight pineapple mini is another great choice. The sub lumen on a AAA is very low. They come with 519a 4000k emitters and you can always pull the dome off for even warmer tint if you know how

Might I suggest a Malkoff MDC HA 1AA Neutral 4000K

0.3 lumens Low

Since you didn't mention budget, an HDS with a 2700K emitter would be hard to beat for warm and sublumen

Thanks for all the replies. I recently ordered and received a Convoy S12 2700k. I am not sure of its 0.1% lumen output but it is too bright (1 lumen maybe???). I'd prefer a light no warmer than 2700k. An incandescent is out of the question.

I thought the HDS might be the ticket. I have not looked at them before. Then saw the price, ~$450. That is a bit steep for this purpose. My budget is more like $125, not more than $150 (for the perfect light for my needs).

Who knows, maybe the light I am searching for does not exist...yet.

Sub lumen output, very warm tint, tailstand capability, and rechargeable battery are requirements. I am flexible on other features.

Again, thanks.
