This is a QT310 potted in a black delrin housing. The body is .750 x .500 with a .850 x .06 flange and is held in the hole with two 4-40 button head screws. I use it to control the excellent hipFlex driver from TaskLED.

Looks really interesting- got more details and schematics? Are you using this to make a diving torch? Does the switch go through the aluminium or is it just buried in the wall? Thanks for showing us!
 
If you google QT310 you can get a data sheet that shows the recommended schematic. This is what I used. The IC is obsolete and the replacement is 1/2 size and difficult to work with without a circuit board and solder mask.
The delrin body extends all the way through the rear cover of this caving headlight. I have not pressure tested the unit but have been thinking of doing so.
