Website about LEDS and flashlights

A while ago I was looking into LEDs for computer case mods and found this site that talked about how to coax your flashlight to use a brighter LED or how to use more power.

For the life of me, I did not bookmark the site and now that I have my twintask 3AA, I'd like to re-vist that site.

Might anyone know what I'm talking about?

Not reallyl, but if it involves LEDs, then you can almost certainly find it here. Check out the mod forum.

For what its worth, if the light just uses a resistor, then replacing the resistor with one of a slightly smaller value will make it brighter. If the light uses active circuitry (boost regulator), then it is a little more complicated.

That is almost like it. People would modify their lights and there would be lots of testing done of the new light.
