My go-to outdoor light for the past few years has been the Fenix TK35 which I recently upgraded to the 2018 edition. Anything else out there in the 2x 18650 body that's worth taking a look at?

Thanks,

Thanks,

There is a Fenix novelty called TK39
It looks vaguely similar to TK35 and has 10,000 lumens
It is 2x 21700 but it is possible that with adapters it can also work with 18650.
Maybe when it's released it might be worth looking at?
Looking at the new lights 2019/2020 it seems that Fenix loves this new battery format very much but without an adapter supplied with the flashlight I will not buy these news (I have too many 18650 batteries to abandon this format)
I'm afraid we may never see 2x18650 again..

i like the looks and performance of the new fenix. ill definitley keep an eye on it. As far as the batteries? im in the same boat your in. everything i have is pretty much 18650 in single, double or quad. my edc, primary outdoor lights and rifle lights are all 18650. i could potentially switch to a different battery format but i would have to wait for that format to be available across the board.

The Armytek Barracuda Pro is one of the more promising 2x18650 lights:

-Very good runtimes in each mode
-Excellent UI (head tightened = Turbo 1 or Turbo 2; Head loosened = multi mode w/ memory)
-Effective throw with decent side spill; like a modern Maglite

I like mine so much I just bought a 2nd.

Given the tightness of the beam, even the low modes of 30 and 150lm have a really long effective range.
