What about a kai* 5 x Cree XR-E P4

It has no driver, but it looks like a nice deal to start with. Add a handlebar mount, an external battery a maxflex and you're ready to go!
Any opinions?

Single mode is bad.
P4 cree is old and not too efficient.

You can get a P7 torch for less.

Yes, cree P4 old but still puts out 170lm @ 700mah and i was thinking of driving them properly with a maxflex. Moreover,i was also considering the benefit in spill that 5 leds would have over a single p7.
Any ideas?
