What do you put your KL3 on?

Hi guys. I was just curious as to how you guys have your KL3. I put mine on my Z2, along with a clickie tailcap. The thing is longer than my 9P! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I have two. One is on a 6P with an A19 added, and the other is on a C3HA with a z49 clickie (but the Z49 is gonna get swapped out for a regular tailcap soon).

The C3 is a monster. Will try to post a pick up later.

I have mine on an old style 9P (round) pipe with a clickie tailcap. I tried it with a 6P and it was just not the same. The 9P is nicely balanced in look as well as feel. Wish I had a camera to post a pic for you.

Hi Monanza. Actually, my 9P is the old style too. I just took the bezel from the Z2 and moved it over once I put the KL3 on it. I tried putting the 9P+KL3+Clickie, and it's freakin' huge! haha.

Isn't it though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif! My 9P is slightly different than the one you have. It has two knurl bands on the pipe instead of one. I like your Z2 combo. It looks quite cool. The extra rubber grips give it the extra weight in the back to make a more balanced combo.

Mine was on a Z3, sold/traded it...had one on a C3-HA, sold/traded it...now awaiting a 6P w/A19 extension & clickie and/or my newly ordered UBH-HA...

Ok....so how do you guys carry your KL3 + whatever? Mine's just on my bedside dresser all the time. The clickie is too big for my 9P holster, and the KL3 is too big for my V70! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif Maybe it'll just have to be on my nightstand forever...and ever...

Mine's not for carry. When I have found a suitable reflector (or when Electro's 30 mm optic arrives) I may mod the KL3 to a 5Watter. It will then be more suitable for carry (for when I go jogging - or was that if /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon6.gif?). How I carry it is still a big /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif.

Just out of stupidity, why hassle with the KL3, (unless of course you already have one that isn't getting used), when the KL1 is as bright and is more ergonomic on the UBH, (and will run a LONG time on three 123's), and you save $30.00 on the adapter?

I have my KL3-HA on a C3-HA with clcikie and carry it in a Blackhawk 9N pouch. it fits just right /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I put mine on pocket-clip D3! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
The light is better balanced and I'm glad the pocket clip works great with the big KL3
