What is the brightest, smallest light with the farthest throw? Oh, and to make it chalenging, and within my budget, less the $100.

I know about the thor, but it is much too big. I was thinking about the size of a 2 D Mag, or smaller. If it is smalelr, btu doesn't throw as far, but has a huge wow throw factor for size, let me know.

Thanks

Hmm dont know for how much you can get a magcharger, but if you can get it under $100, and buy a Welch Allyn 01160 bulb (normally available at flashlightlens.com, but are out of stock right now..) you have a 3d sized mag with more then 500 lumens.

Magcharger is 3D size. I think you might be able to get a basic Tigerlight for just under $100. That's your best bet. It's pretty impressive out of the box, and there are some mods for it that make it even more powerful.

Tigerlight is a good light yes, but a MC/WA01160 puts out more light and is a more then easy 'mod'.
To mod a tigerlight (TL85 for example) you need someone to pot the bulbs in the reflector which takes time and costs more money, not to mention that those mods are not being made (for now?).

I agree with paulr, the Tigerlight is a good choice. Very good throw and the version without pepper spray is much smaller than the Magcharger.

Great. Let me look at those two. Easy mod is good. I will compare the size and compare 500n lumens (wow) to the Tigerlight.

Thanks
