WHAT NEXT AFTER ZL SC600?!?!?!?!?!

i bought a zebra light sc600 a week ago and i am in love with the light. i love how bright it is and it is a nice wide floody beam. I'm looking to get another light soon but have no idea which one to get. my only limitations are that it needs to be an 18650 powered light and I'm looking for throw more than anything. (because i have a perfect flood light) I'm not looking to spend 200 dollars for the deft edc. my price range was more around 100-150 or less. my top options that I'm stuck on are...

I'm looking for more of a tactical light that i can still fit in my pocket. and i am aware that the olight m3x is way to big for that if anyone has any other lights that i am not familiar with that would fit this criteria please leave feedback and let me know

Scope out the Armytek Predator line. They are throw oriented. The problem with pocket carrying throwers is that typically you have to have a certain sized head in order to reflect the light. I have a Quark Turbo 123x2 that throws quite well and pocket carries pretty nice. Its not the newer X version because I got that one and the head is huge with not that much of a difference in throw.

Also youll want to look at XPG or XRE lights as XMLs arent going to typically throw as far. In small lights at least.

If you were considering a Deft, but the price is a little too steep, have a look at the Dereelight Aspherical with the 1.5 amp XR-E R2 pill. There has been some discussion about this light on the "Dedicated Throwers" thread, and the "Got my aspherical head for my DBS-Holy Crap" thread. It has a lux of 90,000 and is about $95 at the Flashlight Connection.
If you are not in favour of an aspherical light, then the Thrunite TN11 that you mentioned is a good choice.

A good pocketable throwy light is the Olight M21-X. 600 lumens, and runs on a single 18650 or two CR123's. There's also the Olight M20-X which has a slightly smaller head making it even easier to carry around. The brighter M21-X is only slightly brighter & throws only slightly better than the M20-X, so you'd enjoy either.

For some real throw though, you will need to move to the larger 2x18650 lights like the Olight M3X, Thrunite Catapult V3, or my favorite - the EagleTac M3C4 XM-L. The single XM-L version throws better than the one with 3 XM-L LED's. The Olight & the Thrunite are very long with the two 18650s positioned end to end. What I like about the EagleTac is that the two 18650's are side by side. If I'm wearing somewhat baggy pants or shorts then this light will fit in my pocket ok. It's too big for carrying around very much, but can fit in your pocket. Its throw is quite good. It is of the same caliber as the Olight & the Thrunite; just different shape & UI. It has some useful lower modes & comes with a nice difuser.

thank you for all your feed back i will be looking into all the lights you suggested. another light i forgot to mention was the the fenix tk11 r5 it has 258 lumens which is very low compared to tn11/m21x/quark 123x and dereelight. i do light its small size and it is an xp-g which is perfect for throw correct me if I'm wrong. what do you all think about the tk11 r5? let me know and thank you again

I have been looking at the sunwayman t20cs 658lm single 18650, 140mm length, with one handed brightness ui [ kinda over twisty heads]has a 38mm head with mirror smooth reflector- see BIGMACS review. The tk15 would be better than the tk11, newer model.

The XP-G is a smaller LED compared to the new XM-L LED which lends to better throw, but the XM-L is a lot brighter. It takes a larger head to focus the larger XM-L LED into a good thrower, but I like my XM-L lights a lot more than my XP-G lights. Some of my floodier XM-L lights throw as well as my XP-G lights just because they're brighter, and my XM-L lights with larger heads just blow away all of my XP-G throwers. My Olight M21-X blows away my older Olight M20 and blows away my Fenix TK11. The 600 lumens produced by the new M21-X is head & shoulders better than the Olight M20 & the Fenix TK11.

When I got my Fenix TK11 I liked it quite a bit, but the newer lights with the XM-L LED's are a big step up. If I were buying my first light that was about the same size as the TK11 then I'd consider these over it - Olight M21-X, Olight M20-X, Thrunite TN11, Thrunite TN12, Fenix TK21, SureFire Fury (the new 500 lumen light), Sunwayman T20CS, and the Klarus XT11. There are others, but these are the ones I like.

ok i have been doing more research and i am definitely interested in this light (dbs 1.5 ez900) i think i maybe getting this one. i LOVE how the beam is like a laser light. and the shape of the beam is square and not circular. and other then the head the light is very compact

However the newer 1.5 amp EZ900 is getting a lot of attention from throw junkies, so I ordered one for myself, but has not yet arrived. I actually do prefer a beam with some flood and spill, but these laser like beams are very impressive and I couldn't resist.

yea i saw the dbs 1.5 available online at flashlightconnection.com for around $95 and I'm planning to get it there. is that where you ordered yours from?
