What watch you're wearing?

Recently my friend decided that I should have a watch other than a cell phone and gave me a watch that he wore for about 10 years and then it sat in his closet for about 5 years. Battery 371. Works quite accurately except for one moment. Their calendar has 39 days + a day marked 00. Found this yesterday when it showed July 32. Does this have anything to do with them being made in South Korea or is it because of the Swiss mechanism? I looked, it has nothing to do with the Juche calendar or the Kuomintang calendar, I have no other ideas. I also thought that this was a Scandinavian company, the name is too similar to "son of a Roman", although it should rather look like this "Romansson" but I'm not sure, we need a linguist for northern languages.
In principle, I don't care, it's a very nice and memorable gift, even if they didn't work. The glass turned out to be sapphire, I tried to scratch it with a knife, then a file, then a diamond sharpening stone. The diamond scratches it well

Have you seen this one @iacchus ?
I have not.
Well, I saw a brown fumed dial, but not the blue, and as far as I'm concerned, they might as well be different watches. The brown dial didn't do much for me. That blue though, oh man. That's lovely.

The combination of your watch & that fine looking tach. behind it.
great pic!
Looks to be almost 5,000 rpm straight up

First tachometer I ever saw with orange hands was in the 70s' ___ in a 911
Thanks! I was out for lunch on my way to get some Vindaloo and was at a painfully long stoplight. Got bored.

Woulda been less boring in a Porsche! But alas, just a Camry XSE. Decent gas mileage though, and as much as I drive, I need it.

I have a couple Trasers I bought on clearance about 20 years ago and they are still going strong, though the tritium has dimmed a bit. Earlier this year I was pleased to find a Luminox with sapphire crystal and polycarbonate case for almost the same price I paid for the Trasers a coulple decades ago ($159). I really like the orange trits on the hands for this model. Light weight and tough for my outdoor adventures.

Decided to see for myself what these watches are like. Love the look and couldn't resist the practically risk-free price.

And I am quite impressed, indeed. Case work and polishing is really beautifully done, as is the bracelet.

The NH35A is running about +2 SPD, as well. Quite nice.

So this is a big winner in my view - especially for the mind boggling price ($60 including 7-day tracked shipping to Arizona). The watch has enchanted me so much that I bought a second one, so that I could keep one on the bracelet and the other on a leather strap.
