Hello, all. I was trawling through the depths of CPF history when I chanced upon this monster...the DataBank 70.

I was wondering if anyone has ever managed to build something that completely outgunned it?

Also, upon seeing it, my imagination ran wild. What if DataBank had used SST-90's instead? What if he had cooled it with liquid nitrogen? What if he had hooked it up to a massive car battery pack (much like the one in the Prius?)

Discuss.

Won't beat the DataBank in terms of throw, but Holzleim's Mr Beambastic might beat it in overall output? If it doesn't, it's pretty damn close.

Don't know if you've been in the The BIG Lights thread, but it's essentially a compilation of CPF's biggest lights, as the name might suggest. Some very interesting reading.

Yeah, My Incan! My “Can light” can overpower it, but the Databank 70 out throws my 29,000 Lumens easily:eek:! It is defiantly impressive in person I’ll tell you that:twothumbs!
