What\'s Up with Pila 150S Cells

I know that I've read multiple posts that talk about 2x150S equaling 3x123 cells. Based on those comments, I ordered (4) of them, only to find out they're too long for my UBH-II. I don't have an M3 or an L6 to try them in, but it sortof' bums me out. Did I miss-read the information or did my cells stretch?

It's a bit longer than the equivalent 123 cells so you're not crazy.

Damn. I must have missed that picture or else I would have never bought them. Guess I'll be posting the on B/S/T shortly. I'll sell all (4) for $80.00 if anyone is interested.

They work fine in a Z3 or M3 if you have those lights. I've already got spare 150S or I'd take them off your hands /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I have successfully ued 1x150s and 1x17500 in a tl3. The total combined length is 102mm or 2mm more than 3x123. If you have a regulator like the l4, than you should be able to use 2x17500.

I just guestimate you mean 2x150 or 2x17500 - right ? And the probblem is that the 150´s seem to be a tad longer than the bare 17500s which I believe can be attributed to the added protection circuitry. The L4 will physically accomodate one 17670 or 168s, and the 2 150´s or 17500´s you can use with a KL4 head on an UBH or other 3x123 body will physically destroy the circuit and not just overdrive the LED, so I would caution anyone to blow his circuit as I did - Spare LTC1872 anyone ?

Sorry, i meant to say that if he was running a UBH with a regulated buck boost circuit to drive an LS, the lenght of the 150s and 17500 should fit. I am currently using the same config in my new tl3. Surprisingly the 150s has less capacity than the 17500. Got mine yesterday from www.sabahoceanic.com . Had a long talk with the owner and directed him to the CPF.
