When do you recharge protected cells?

Do you wait until your rechargeable cells are totally depleted before recharging, or do you top them off whenever you feel like it? Is there a need for a full discharge before recharging protected cells? I am using 14500's, RCR123's and 17670's. I tried the search function, but cannot seem to pull up the answer to this question? Sorry if I am :dedhorse: . Please don't :xyxgun: me. :thanks: .

LiOns don't need to be cycled, the only time you will see a LiOn cycled is if an older state of charge circuit needs reset.

I'm a noob, so pardon my question. I take your response to mean that you don't need to fully discharge protected cells before throwing them on the charger. Is this correct?

Li-Ion's generally lasts longer with shallow discharges and 'frequent' charging... :)
