Chris you are in the good place to order. But it seems that the arc LSHF-P is out of stock, you have to wait or ask Peter when a new stock will arrive.
I have this wonderful light and I recommend it for you, do not try to find another one flashlight. Wait, if you are lucky before christmas you'll can order one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Don't forget the secondary market. They can pop up on the B/S/T here pretty often!

Indeed the LSHFP is a great light /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I like mine very much...
wish I had enough $$$ to get myself one of those LSL now...

B/S/T is the place to pick up a lot of like-new item at super savings. Just keep your eyes open.
Also you can check Arc's website for a list of their dealers. Just click on their "where to buy"

It's worth the wait. Point it at something in a dark room and it's like pulling up the shades. A window of light, but a window that is just the right size and with enough light bouncing around to serve as a general purpose light.

No, I am pretty sure the Fraen optic LSHF-P is only available from Arc directly and right now, it is sold out. Hopefully Peter will have some in soon and maybe even run that great sale again for one more day!

No, as far as I know only Arc sells the "Special Edition Arc LSH-P w/Tight Focus Beam", aka LSHF-P, which is the one you want. It uses the Fraen Low Profile optics to produce a tighter beam than the standard LSH-P.

Or you could buy the one from Meridian and do THIS to it. Mine may have had less glue or whatever was used on the retainer that holds the converter/Luxeon assembly inside the head, but it was rather easy if you can get the assembly going and unscrew it out. Then you simply drop out the NX-05 and drop in the Fraen...

Chris Dallas,
Are you aware of the differences of the LSHF-P and the LSH-P? I mean nothing by this except I was wondering if you were just looking for the LSH-P and not the LSH with the Fraen optic. Just to make sure my friend! Doug /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Would you be kind enough to explain the difference if my understanding is wrong please?

My understanding after reading many threads & visiting the Arc website is that the LSHF-P and the LSH-P are identical other than the fact that the LSHF-P uses the new Fraen Low Profile optic & produces a more tightly focused beam which is what I need.

Thanks
Chris

Chris, you are correct! I just wasn't sure if you were aware there was a difference. Peter must be temporarily out of the LSHF-P. shoot him an email and ask him about it! Take care! Doug /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The LSH hotspot is actually tighter than the LSHF's but the LSHF's beam is almost all hotspot. Some people have metered the LSH's hotspot brighter, but I think more meters have given the nod to the LSHF.
