GS vs DS vs Snow....which has the best beam characteristics and tint, in your opinion

I prefer the snow LED. It's not as bright as the others but it does not have that harsh blue tint. I don't need a lot of lumens out of my Arc so the snow is perfect for me.

Go for the "Snow" The snow may lack a few percent of measured output but the tint more than makes up.

from what I have seen, I would go with the DS over the snow since it has a wider beam and more throw for outdoor use.

I am happy with my GS. It seems white compared to my other AAAs and very bright. It is a powerful little light. The LED seems to protude a little but not past the bezel. I will probably get another.

I have an Arc Snow, a DS, and a few CS lights.

The Snow has the best tint -- i.e., the whitest -- and I like it for indoors use. I prefer the DS for outdoor use because it is brighter and has more spill.
