Hi from Ireland,
.
I bought this torch for scuba diving. As a student it's the best I could afford. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/190738530800?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
It uses a CREE XM-L T6. The seller recommends a 18650 battery.
From what I can gather off the CREE website this LED will last longest at 2000mA. It seems this is achieved at 3.0 - 3.2V or a 123. As the 18650's run at 3.7 to 4.2 will the current will be higher and shorten the life of the LED?
I ordered the torch thinking it took AA's and got a bit off a shock. Never used any of these batteries before.
What's the best battery and charger to get for this torch. I can't decide from all info.
Thanks
