I played with a mini grip last weekend for the first time and I want one. I'm not even a knife guy although I do pack a Spydie Native. The mini grip just felt solid and well made. Not to say the Native is not.

grip is always a solid choice for anyone.

i have a 707 and like it a lot, more streamlined and nice lines.

rukus is a solid choice but the handle is a bit too beefy for me, both longer and thicker compared to other knives with the same blade length

Thanks Heaps guys.. I thing I'm going for the Mini-Grip tanto and a 707.. will probably also pack my native for any messy stuff..

The Kulgera looks awesome but since i'm going to be country hopping UK to eurpe to US i think I'll have to keep it under 3" in blade length!

Anyone had any dealings with sooner state knives on ebay? any good?

I'm wondering about the illegality/legality of assisted opening knives in one's homeland. I've read of some people ordering a knife and then having the pivot(don't know the correct term) screw tightened down for them prior to shipping so that it doesn't quickly open up with one hand? Anyone heard/read or know about that? :thinking:
