Which One ??? Olight T20 or Dereelight CLiH ???

Which one should I go for ??
For EDC needs very good throw for longish range nightime door number searching.
I need a replacement for my Focusing Lenser.

All opinions required please.

The CL1H with SMO reflector has great throw. I'd go for the new 2-stage digital Q5 pill and run it with a AW 18650. The 2-stage multi-power pill can use other battery types, but it isn't as bright as the 2-stage digital.

Then 6 months from now, or whenever, if there is something brighter available you just buy the new pill and pop it in. Couldn't be easier, and saves you the cost of buying a whole new flashlight.

The Dereelight DBS will throw even farther, but it's a larger light than the CL1H.

If you go with a CL1H be sure to get the new V3 (version 3).

CL1H is significantly bulkier than the T20. I carry the CL1H in my man purse as backup to the T10 Q5 in my pocket. The CL1H is my favroite non-Mule light and my 3-stage Q5 just arrived yesterday so I love it even more!

For EDC I'd go with the T10 Q5 over the T20. I sold my T20 and got a T10 Q5 for EDC which replaced my P2D. It is a little longer than the P2D but it is a bright sucker and throw is amazing for a little package.

I use my T-20 as a daily carry. It fits in a jacket pocket rather nicely and my 5.11 shirt pocket as well.

I've got the Dereelight on order and it's supposedly been shipped so we'll see if it can take the place. Well, that is if I don't use this A2 or 6P now that I've got them too :twothumbs

I think the Dereelight is the better option for what I require.

But why is there not a light that throws like Jay's (FlashCrazy) modded LED Lenser ???

There must be something out there that comes close, or better, in a similarly sized package ???
