I picked up an older E1e. It's in great shape but the rubber boot on the Z52 is a little cracked/cut up.

- Is it possible to replace just the stock boot? Where would I get one? Surefire won't sell me one.

- If I choose to swap in a McClicky, which boot do I use and where do I get it? I know there are a couple varieties depending on the application.

Thanks.

I don't see why one of the cheap silicone 14mm ones wouldn't work. My E1e tail cap boot measures 13mm across but looks to have enough room for a 14mm. Deal Extreme or FastTech has them for a couple bux. And that's for a dozen. You could find one domestically but the shipping could be more than they cost from HK and you get more. Just my 2 cents.
