Who is Plumb Bob? How do i contact him?

As title who is this Plumb Bob bloke, anyone got an email for him?
Plumb Bob?
He is a straight up and down dude!

I didnt think he was on this forum. But he is on this one http://sods.freeforums.org/

I am guessing you may be after a canister?
His bro in law makes some nice Delrin cans and I finish them off by adding a rotating collar holding a magnet to activate an internal reed switch,

Just wanted to see how much this sort of thing costs?

Would need it to be internally no less than 55mm diammater and 155mm long, as im using theses packs:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250502505200

Leaving the top un-tapped as i have my own Argo/Salvo Gland that i want to use.

What do you think? I have no idea about the cost of these things, but i imagine the postage would be a killer...

Cant find my vernier at the mo but the cannister will take 4 26650 Li Ion cells2x2 or upto 10 18650's 2 x 5 with PCB board for protection.
It will not take 6 (3 x 2) 26650's.

Cost is $250NZ. Shipping is quite cheap at about $15nz or $50 tracked. ( at a guess based on other stuff I have shipped)

That is for the bare can with 2 Orings. No gland, no rotating collar ( grove cut though or not) no mosfet.

I just finish one complete light last week and will finish another this weekend.
I have another 2 cannister on order currently.

In danger of becoming a sales thread, so could you please PM me with a cost including the switch and your mosfet arrangement.

Some actual internal measurements would be great when you get a chance?

Also what depth have theses cannisters been dry too?

Cheers.

Will do when I get a chance.

Depth rating? No idea really. Its much thicker ( 2-3x) than my PVC cannister and I take that bellow 50 meters as often as I can.
Gland is probably the weak point since its only rated at 10 bar. Mind you its probably good for much more than that.
They also use 2 O rings. Axial and radial. You can quite safely remove one and still have the same depth rating. The other is pure redundancy.
