Who makes this \"Torch/light\"????

Big story in the press here in Uk. The Government has ordered the Police to make an enquiry into the Death of Princess Diana..... (For what its worth. Dodi's father never really liked his son and must be one of the best liars in the world..)

Anyway.... Some people have talked about a very very powerfull "Anti personnel" flash light been used that would cause major problems for the victim??? certain types are available to buy . But this one is for "Special forces" etc only. I believe it looks like a fat medium lengh telescope!!

Any ideas who could make such an item??

Hi

No pics..

It might be a one time unit or takes ages for it to recharge.
It has a hige bulb not just a huge reflector. Its Black!! shaped like a real fat sailors telescope . It is only designed to give off a quick flash that causes havoc with the nervous system. The Tv report mentioned that other "Flash lights" like this are made but this model is only sold to Police and Army for "Special use"

Yeah, the one i posted above has a "strobe" mode, which pulses at 8hz...designed to disorientate the subject.

Its just give off a flash . No constant beam.

This sounds exactly like a device used by Mr Clark to bring down an aircraft in a Tom Clancy novel that I have read.
